The new address is the news
Housewarmings grow sideways. What starts as the family chat and three friends becomes, by week two, the colleagues, the next door neighbours and a cousin of a cousin. Each of those groups learns the details secondhand, which means every retelling drops something โ the entrance, the floor, the day the gate opens for parking.
The fix is boring in the best way: one page, one link, forwarded endlessly. Whoever opens it, from whichever chat they got it, reads the identical address, the identical directions and the identical reply button. Word spreading becomes a feature rather than a game of telephone.
